Tetrapak waste treatment using microwave pyrolysis to produce alternative gas fuels

چکیده
Tetrapak waste is one of the most abundant wastes in world. It consists layers paper, LDPE, and aluminium foil. difficult to recycle, however it can be converted into valuable gaseous fuel if processed by microwave heat using a dual reactor catalytic process, SiC as absorber, natural zeolite catalyst. The sample was pyrolyzed at different Microwave Output Power (MOP) levels (300, 450, 600, 800 W) Catalytic Temperatures (CT) (350, 400, 500°C) for 30 minutes. results showed that MOP CT positively affect increase yield improve heating value gas product. For instance, W, increased from 73 wt.% process without catalyst 78 temperature 500°C. same effect occurred when various were used. level raised. H2, CH4, CO, CO2, other hydrocarbons with low molecular weights (C2+) are major components products. presence catalyst, an CT, rise all boosted generation syngas (H2 + CO) up 54.55 wt.%. yields this experiment have LHV 21.97–23.46 MJ/m3 total energy 34.59–171.24 kJ. high-quality products used alternative fuels or feed chemical synthesis.
